Green Tukky franchises its snack tuk-tuks

It was in 2016 that Éric Lamarens and his partner created the Green Tukky concept, before duplicating it under brand license in 2021. Since then, the brand, which specializes in mobile takeaways, has been present between the South-West and the Gard via six electric tuk-tuks. Today, the brand intends to accelerate its territorial coverage.

Eric Lamarens and his partner Valérie Mérignac wanted to go where others didn't go. After discovering the existence and practicality of the electric tuk tuk, the couple bought two such vehicles in 2016. They then fitted them with technology enabling them to be autonomous (lithium batteries). The duo then transformed them into fully-fledged mobile businesses. "It all started out as a personal project. We also wanted to adapt our tuk-tuks with a power system that would allow us to plug in our pancake and ice-cream machines. We then had to find engineers to come up with a vehicle model that could have on-board autonomy.
